There is no satisfaction except in putting away the flesh, and serving God. There is diversion, there is excitement, there is amusement, truly -- but all these are cheap baby things: totally unworthy of mature adults, totally unsatisfying to mature adults. Eternal usefulness is the only justification for existence, and will be found to be the only true joy. A tiny few among mankind will have the wisdom to prepare themselves to be useful to God. All the teeming rest merely exist without living, and at last drop into the dark cold grave forever. Be wise: seize eternity!
