THEOS, God, a god, object of worship.

Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one lord (Mark xii. 29).

Star of your god, Remphan (Acts vii. 43).

It is the voice of a god, and not of a man (Acts xii. 22).

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever (Heb. i. 8).

The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men (Acts xiv. 11).
