God will make a new covenant with His people. The citizens of the coming Messianic Kingdom will receive forgiveness of sins, a new heart, and the spirit of their God. They shall all know the Lord. As the waters cover the seas, the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord. Jerusalem shall be once again the place of the manifestation of God.

The heathen will also partake of the blessings of the new City of God. This will extend over the whole earth. The nations will come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the ruler of the world, and be instructed in his ways.

The godless will be destroyed out of the Land. For the righteous, death will be abolished forever. All nations will live in peace. Everyone will dwell under his own vine and fig tree, without fear. The whole creation will experience an amazing change.

During the Millennium Christ will be the King on earth, and will reign with his saints over all the nations. "The times of refreshing" will have come. Peace will reign over all.

When the thousand-year sabbath comes to an end, God will put the whole world to another test. Many will join in a mad attempt to overthrow Christ, the King of Kings. Then will come the final fulfilment of the glorious plan of God's salvation. ²¹²
