The rules for Christ's followers embrace all aspects of life: the mutual relationships of husband and wife; of master and servant; of fathers and children (Eph. 5:24-6:9). The duty of love to fellow man is the one unsettled debt: but the love of neighbor springs out of the love of God which is begotten in response to God's love in Christ (Rom. 13:8).
